The signal drops mid-bill
A cloud app freezes the moment the network does. BillZap keeps every invoice, customer and product on the phone itself, so the basement shop and the village market work the same as a fibre line.
Free forever · No sign-up
BillZap is a free GST billing app built for Indian shops. Make a proper tax invoice at the counter, put a UPI QR on it so the customer pays before they leave, and send it on WhatsApp — all without internet.
Built for the counter
They ask you to sign up, then to subscribe, then to be online. Meanwhile there is a customer standing in front of you holding cash. BillZap is built the other way round.
A cloud app freezes the moment the network does. BillZap keeps every invoice, customer and product on the phone itself, so the basement shop and the village market work the same as a fibre line.
Twenty invoices, then a paywall. BillZap has no invoice limit, no trial clock and no paid tier — the app you install is the whole app.
CGST and SGST for your own state, IGST for another. BillZap reads it from your place of supply and says which one it is picking, on the bill screen, before you save.
Everything included
Billing, customers, stock, expenses and the numbers your accountant asks for — without paying for a single add-on.
HSN codes, per-item GST rates, CGST/SGST/IGST worked out for you, and your GSTIN on every bill.
The customer scans and pays before leaving the shop. No card machine, no "I'll transfer it tonight".
Say the item and the amount in your own language and the invoice fills itself in. Hands stay on the goods.
A proper tax invoice with your shop's name on it, shared in two taps — with a real ₹ symbol, not "Rs."
Monthly revenue, GST summary for GSTR-1, profit and loss, and who still owes you — as PDF or CSV.
Save what you sell once, then pick it. Low-stock and out-of-stock warnings sit on the home screen.
End the day with cash in, UPI in, expenses out and what the drawer should hold — in one screen.
Every buyer's history and outstanding balance, with the oldest unpaid bills listed first so you know who to call.
PIN or fingerprint on the app, and a backup file you own — restore it on a new phone in a minute.
Three steps
Name, GSTIN and UPI ID. That is the setup — it takes about a minute and every bill you send afterwards carries it.
Pick the customer, add what they bought. GST is applied per item and the total climbs as you go.
Show the UPI QR, or send the PDF on WhatsApp. Mark it paid and it lands in your reports.
Billing
The bill is laid out like a document, not a database screen: your shop at the top, the buyer's GSTIN, every line with its HSN code and rate, and the tax split spelled out underneath.
Getting paid
Every bill is colour-coded the moment its due date passes. The ledger sorts by what is most overdue, so the call you make is the one worth making.
Numbers
Revenue by month, GST collected split into CGST, SGST and IGST, and profit after expenses. Export any of it as a clean PDF or a CSV your accountant can open.
Compliance
Getting the tax wrong means reissuing the bill. BillZap does the parts that are easy to get wrong, and shows its working.
Same state as your shop and it charges CGST + SGST. Different state and it switches to IGST. The invoice screen tells you which one it has chosen and why, so a wrong place of supply cannot slip past you.
A month-by-month summary of taxable value, CGST, SGST and IGST, exportable as PDF or CSV. It is supporting data for your filing, laid out the way your accountant reads it.
Save the code once against the item in your catalogue and it prints on every bill that includes it, with the GST rate suggested from the item name.
Send the PDF on WhatsApp, or print to a WiFi or Bluetooth printer from the same screen. The rupee symbol renders correctly in both.
Your language
Not just the menus — the voice billing understands them too.

Privacy
BillZap has no account, no server and no analytics on your invoices. What you bill stays in the app's own storage on your phone. There is nothing for us to read, sell or lose, because nothing is sent anywhere.
Questions
Yes. There is no paid tier, no trial that expires and no cap on how many invoices you can make. The app you install is the whole app.
Completely. Every invoice, customer, product and expense is stored on the phone itself. You can bill all day with the network off and nothing is queued up waiting to sync.
They carry your GSTIN, the buyer's GSTIN, HSN or SAC codes per line, the GST rate on each item, and the tax split shown separately as CGST and SGST or as IGST. Place of supply decides which split applies, and the app tells you which one it has picked before you save.
No. There is no sign-up, no phone number and no email. Open the app and start billing. Because there is no account there is also no server holding your books.
Yes — the invoice becomes a clean PDF with your shop's name on it, shared in two taps. If the bill is unpaid the message includes a UPI payment link as well.
Put your UPI ID in settings once. Every unpaid invoice then carries a QR code the customer scans with any UPI app to pay you directly. The money goes straight to your bank; BillZap is not in the middle of the payment.
Speak the item and the amount in your own language and the invoice fills itself in, so your hands can stay on the goods. It understands all twelve of the languages the app is translated into.
Yes. Export a month-by-month GST summary laid out for GSTR-1, a profit and loss statement, a revenue report and an invoice status report — as PDF, or as CSV they can open in a spreadsheet.
Take a backup from settings — it is a single file you keep — and restore it on the new phone. Your invoices, customers, products and expenses come back.

Leave your email and the download starts straight away. It is only used to tell you when a new version is out — the app itself never asks you for anything, and works with no account at all.
