The voice parser understands mixed-language commerce — you can switch between Tamil and English mid-sentence ("Rameshku 2 kilo sugar"), use Indian unit words ("dabba," "peti," "dozen"), and use Indian amount shortcuts ("2k" = ₹2,000, "1.5L" = ₹1,50,000).

4. Daily Business Insights

Open the app and you'll see something useful — not a notification spam wall. The Insights system rotates through birthday/anniversary reminders for top customers, slow-day alerts, top-customer reminders, inventory low alerts, tax filing reminders, and festival countdowns.

5. PIN + Fingerprint Lock

Your business data is sensitive. BillZap supports a 4-digit PIN unlock plus biometric (fingerprint) authentication on Android. The app re-locks after 60 seconds in the background — so leaving your phone on the counter doesn't expose your daily collections to a curious customer.

6. Smart Amount Entry

Indians don't count like Americans. We say "5 lakh" not "five hundred thousand." BillZap honors this:

8. WhatsApp Invoice Sharing

The simplest, most-used feature. After creating an invoice, tap one button. WhatsApp opens with the invoice PDF attached, a pre-formatted message in your customer's language, and the UPI link embedded. Your customer receives it in WhatsApp, opens the PDF, scans the QR or taps the UPI link, and pays. The whole flow takes 15 seconds end to end.

9. Day Close (Cash Drawer)

Replace your paper notebook with a digital one. Mark each invoice as paid via Cash, UPI, Bank, or Other. At the end of the day, the Day Close screen shows you exactly how much came in, broken down by method, with a WhatsApp-ready summary you can share with your spouse, accountant, or business partner.

Your local data is protected by PIN-based encryption of the Hive database, biometric unlock (fingerprint) as an additional layer, 60-second auto re-lock when backgrounded, encrypted backup files (.billzap format) with PIN protection, and no password storage — your PIN is hashed with SHA-256 + salt.
